Elements Urban Arts Collective Announces Needs-Based Scholarship for
Pre-Professional Hip Hop Dance Training Program
[North Bethesda, MD] - Elements Urban Arts Collective, one of very few performing arts studios in the DC Metro Area dedicated solely to Hip Hop dance education, is pleased to announce the launch of a new scholarship program for its Pre-Professional Hip Hop Dance Training Program. The scholarship is aimed at supporting talented young Hip Hop dancers ages 8-18 who have a passion for dance but may not have the financial means to access a program of this caliber.
The Pre-Professional Hip Hop Dance Training Program, Elements Dance Company, is designed to provide young dancers with comprehensive and rigorous training, while preparing them for a career in dance. The program includes training in Hip Hop techniques, choreography, freestyle, and performance skills, taught by a team of experienced and renowned dance instructors.
"Elements Dance Company is committed to providing opportunities for young dancers to achieve their dreams and reach their unlimited potential," said Alana Hill, Director of Elements Urban Arts Collective. "With this needs-based scholarship program, we aim to ensure that financial constraints are not a barrier to pursuing a career in dance."
The scholarship is open to Hip Hop dancers ages 8-18 who demonstrate exceptional talent and financial need. Applicants must be accepted into Elements Dance Company via our standard audition process and submit a separate application process providing additional information about their financial situation and dance experience/achievements.
The deadline to apply is May 14, 2023 and auditions will be held Saturday, May 20th, 2023 at Elements Urban Arts Collective.
