A Special Announcement from Elements Urban Arts Collective Director, Alana Hill
Dear EDC Family and Friends,
I’m honored to announce that Elements Urban Arts Collective, home of Elements Dance Company, will be opening our own brick and mortar space in June 2019. We will be located at 12015 Nebel Street in North Bethesda. EUAC will feature two large dance studios, plus a workspace where artists young and old can connect and create. EDC at its core screams community and my hope is to use this space to bring people together through the celebration of Urban art, music, and dance.
The road to making EUAC the amazing place I see in my head will not be easy but I know with all of support I’ve received over the last two years, we can certainly do it.
With all that said, I am inviting all of you to be a part of our fabulous family!

URBAN ARTS PROGRAM BRINGS EXCITING NEW ENERGY TO NORTH BETHESDA THIS JUNE
Elements Urban Arts Collective announces its move to Nebel Center in North Bethesda
WASHINGTON, DC (March 18, 2019): Elements Urban Arts Collective (EUAC), home to pre-professional youth dance program Elements Dance Company, is one of few dance programs in the area focusing solely on Hip Hop and Urban Art. Elements Urban Arts Collective is a fun and encouraging community that celebrates the rich culture of Hip Hop and Urban Art while providing quality instruction to all ages and levels. The summer session slated to start Monday, June 17th will offer classes in Hip Hop, Urban Dance, African, Breakdancing, Jazz Funk, and Freestyle, as well as summer camps and intensives for youth ages 8-17.
Elements Urban Arts Collective and subsidiary Elements Dance Company was founded by Director, Alana Hill, in 2017. While exploring her love for dance, Hill was immediately drawn to the energy and community aspect of Hip Hop dance and spent the past 14 years sharing this love with adult and youth dancers as a local dance teacher, arts administrator and program director. Hill said “I knew fairly on that I wanted to use my talent in the arts and my education in business to create something that gives back to the art form that has given so much to me. EUAC and EDC have been such a special place for myself, and many others, over the past two years. Every class emanates community, fun, and a sincere love for Hip Hop and Urban Arts. I’m super excited to share this program with the local community!”
Elements Urban Arts Collective will be located at 12015 Nebel Street, North Bethesda MD 20852, just two blocks from Rte. 355, and accessible by car, train, or foot. The location will offer two large dance studios with high ceilings, a lobby with homework space for youth participating in classes, and dressing areas. The Summer Session begins on June 17, 2019, with a more comprehensive schedule beginning in September of 2019. Elements Dance Company, EUAC’s pre-professional training program for serious youth dancers will offer auditions in May and August 2019.
An open house is scheduled on June 15th from 10-4pm and free and reduced classes will be offered June 11th-June 13th. These events will offer the opportunity for the community to see the space, learn more about classes/programs, and register for the summer session.
